We dined here tonight and were delighted with the whole experience. The ladies who greeted and served us were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the food was very well presented and delicious. The chef is clearly talented and the attention to detail was amazing, right down to the decreasing size of the blueberries on the top of the scrumptious cheesecake.

Rooms were not serviced once in my week there and also menu for food they never had what you wanted to order do you ended up with something different.just not a great service

Placed at the last minute, the Fife forgot my booking. Positive was fantastic fish and chips. No soap for shower in morning but l would go back for the chat at the bar and food. Gartg McFadden visiting Oakwood Cooperage can l bring Molly?

Possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed, room untidy, no shower instructions, no window in the room, overall not a pleasant experience wouldn’t recommend

Had a lovely afternoon tea birthday treat with my daughter, it was fabulous.
A really good selection and everything was delicious.

Food was great, menus different from the usual stuff you normally see can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Will stay over and sample rooms too. Nice bar too. With darts, pool, jukebox. Clean & modern. Well worth a visit.

The food was disgusting and just tasted like salt. The bar has no atmosphere as there is no music playing unless you pay money for it. I asked for a starter which was £7 (had the menu open and pointed to it when ordering) at the end the woman behind the bar charged double for it. When I complained about the bill no apology or price taken off and she said it was a main course and I hadn’t stated whether I wanted a starter or main. You would think staff would have the common sense to ask if a customer would like a starter or main portion if they know they do the same menu item as both! It wouldn’t have been so bad if the food didn’t taste revolting. Won’t be going back.

Superb meal, very prompt service, friendly and efficient. We had three courses, it is hard to find any faults. The bill was very reasonable and we will definitely go back soon and have no hesitation in recommending The Grampian!

What can I say? My first time in for an afternoon tea and it was excellent. The sandwiches, hot food, scones and fine cakes we just amazing. Plenty tea and coffee too! I had to take food home with me as there was too much. The price was great for what you got. I would highly recommend and I'll certainly be back again.

If you staying in hotel over weekend, dont expect to get much sleep as the pub downstairs have a very loud music until 01:30.
